Needle Set And Pattern Giveaways
If you read my last post, you know why it's useful to possess a variety of knitting needles made from different materials. With that in mind, the folks at Knitter's Pride have generously offered a deluxe set of their interchangeable Karbonz Needles for me to give away to one lucky knitter!
But wait, there's more!
In addition to that, I'm also doing a pattern giveaway for three of my favorite patterns: Delancey Cardigan (regular or plus-size), Brewster Pullover or my Rosendale Slouchy Hat.
Here's how to enter:
Leave a comment on this post telling me which is your favorite pattern from the list above. Please share this post because the more people that comment, the more patterns I will give away :)
The grand prize will receive the Karbonz needle set, and all three patterns. Runner-ups will receive the pattern mentioned in their comment.
One entry per person, please. I will email winners next weekend (March 23, 2014), so keep an eye on your inbox!
PS
If you're a fan of free patterns (and who isn't?!), you'll love this new thing I'm doing with my email list. For anyone who signs up, I will send you a free copy of my Cabled Dad Hat pattern as a thank you gift (just for a limited time). The sign-up form is in the right column of my website.

Rosendale is great-full of texture and a variety of stitches. Would love to knit this hat.
-
Delancey Cardigan is my fav. Love the stripes.
-
Thanks for the amazing giveaway... I adore the Delancey Cardigan the most of these three. Not an easy choice, as they're all pretty darn adorable! I've signed up for your email list, too, and thanks for that free pattern. I just know its gonna get cast on this week, despite my best WIP intentions!!!
-
The Delancey pattern has been in my favorites for a long time! The karbon needles sound like a dream :)
-
Rosendale Slouchy Hat is my favorite!
-
Love the Brewster Pullover although they are all pretty amazing.
-
It's so hard to chose just one! But I'll go with the Rosendale hat :) Thanks for the giveaway!
-
My favorite of those patterns is the Delancey Cardigan (Plus Size). :D
-
The Delancy Cardigan would be my choice. I like the others but I know which one I would pick to do first for myself.
-
A quick search on Rav shows that the Delancey has been in my queue since queued December 30, 2010. I NEED TO VANQUISH IT!! :p
-
I love the Delancey cardigan, it's been in my queue ever since it came out!
-
I almost bought the Rosendale Slouchy Hat pattern, but decided to finish making your Cabled Dad pattern first. Rosendale is my favourite since it is still winter here and I'd like to make more hats. The sweater patterns are lovely, but I'm more of an accessories knitter. I love the knit & purl pattern of Rosendale and think the pattern would be fun to make and to wear. But, back to cabling a dad hat with Lima. I love that yarn.
-
Delancey Cardigan, hands down. My sister and I are talking about a little KAL for this, although as she's expecting her first baby in August, I think we'd better get cracking.....
-
Like many above, Delancey, though I do really like the Brewster cardigan, too. Delancey's been in the queue for longer, so I've been thinking about it longer.
-
Delancey cardigan has been in my ravelry favorites for years - since April 15th 2011 to be exact when I first saw it and fell in love with it.
-
I love Brewster - but then I'm a sucker for color work. I'd love to make that on some new Karbonz.
-
I love using different types of needles. My go-to needle is Symphonie Dreamz or Knit Picks Harmony. I have been thinking of trying some Karbonz. I like the Rosendale Slouchy Hat.
-
I love that Brewster Pullover. Looks a like a great fit plus fun colorwork! Also, I would love to try another needle set! My local yarn shop was just telling me about these. My knit picks interchangable cables keep coming loose from the metal ends.
-
The Delancey Cardigan has been on my wish list for a while now - love the stripes!
-
I like them all! Guess I'd start with Rosendale - the texture is gorgeous. Thanks for such a generous giveaway.
-
The Delancey would be my pick -love the striping!
-
I would love the rosendale hat
-
I subscribed to the email list, because who doesn't love fabulous slouchy hats! I do love the Brewster pullover, modern fair isle is so awesome!
-
Great post on gauge. Thanks. As for patterns, all are fab but I love the pullover best.
-
The Delancey is my favorite - the stripes are gorgeous!
-
I love the cardigan!
-
My choice is the Rosendale Slouchy Hat because it is something that I can easily knit for someone and I don't have to ask what size they are. That way it is a surprise for them and for me it is the the joy of giving plus the sanity knitting provides me. Thank you for posting it! Elischewah (Ellen)
-
My favorite is the Delancey cardigan. Nice cardigan for spring!
-
I love the delancey cardigan! The diagonal stripes look awesome. I would love to knit it and find out how they're done :) I haven't knitted many sweaters yet so each one is something new and I love it!
-
Tough choice, but the Delancey cardigan is my fave!
-
Fun giveaway! I would love to make Delancey because I need more cardigans in my life and love a good shawl collar.
-
I love the brewster-pullover! Never tried carbon-needles, should be interesting!
-
I love the Delancey! Great stripes.
-
The Delancey cardigan is absolutely adorable. The lines make it flattering for almost any body type. I don't know when I'll have time to knit it, but it's certainly in my queue!
-
Thanks for a great giveaway. I would love to win the Brewster pullover pattern.
-
Your designs are so clever and creative. I think of the 3 my favorite is the Brewster pullover. I'm all about seamless construction and your designs take it to the next level.
-
I really like the Rosendale Slouchy Hat. I have been wanting to try my hand at making one and this one looks lovely. Would love to win the set of needles too. Who wouldn't? Thanks for the chance to win. Keeping my fingers crossed.
-
I would have to chose the Delancey Cardigan. I am a plus size girl and I think this would be very flattering on everyone. Thanks for the great giveaway!
-
the slouchy hat would fit just perfectly into my wardrobe. and oh my, my heart went all a flutter at the sight of those needles!
-
I'm such a sucker for stripes. The Delancy cardigan has been in my cue forever. Love it. All of them are great, but that is my favorite.
-
Thanks so much for sharing this post from Alexis. I'm starting my sweater knitting journey. It makes sense to me that needles impact gauge. I think I'll try the experiment myself with my needles. While I love both sweaters, neither is one I'd wear because of my body shape so I'm throwing my hat in to win the Rosedale Slouchy Hat.
-
I've admired the Delancey Cardigan for quite a while. I'd love to knit it (plus size). Your gauge/needle material post was also fascinating.
-
I love, love, love the Delancey Cardigan!! I've book marked your last post for future reference!!
-
I love the brewster pullover!
-
I adore Brewster (adore it!). Thanks for the giveaway :)
-
Delancey cardigan would be my choice. There are so few patterns for 'generous sized' ladies that are attractive. I really enjoyed the post about gauge. So many of us fail to consider gauge even though EVERY pattern discusses the topic. Thanks!
-
Would LOVE to make the Delancey cardigan and love the hat too. I also would not mind a new set of needles! Thanks!
-
Delancey is gorgeous, but I'd probably never knit it. That hat, however, would be a great addition to my Wisconsin winter stash!
-
I love that hat, and the cardigan. So I hope I win.
-
I LOVE your Delancy Cardigan and have it on my Ravelry Queue for what seems like forever. The stumbling block is that I really want to knit it in the yarn called for - Capra - but I just need to save my money for a sweater's worth of that yarn. All of your patterns have a great designer look to them, though! Thanks for the offer~
-
The Delancey cardigan is my favorite, but I have already knit it! I am loving Brewster too! Thanks for the giveaway!
-
Loving the Delancey Cardigan. Can never have too many cardigans - especially when they look like this!
-
I love them all. My favorite today is Brewster, I have never tried this construction before. Thank you for the free pattern!
-
I love the look of the the Delancey Cardigan, I need to get this pattern. I've been wanting to have a decent practice on using circular needles.
-
Your knits are gorgeous & very classy! The Delancey Cardigan is love at first sight for me though! It looks like it belongs in a 1960's classic, starring Audry Hepburn, or Mia Farrow. Thank you for the opportunity of a great giveaway! :)
-
The Delancey cardigan is beautiful, although I love a good hat, so Rosendale is very appealing. My fave, though, is the Dad Hat you list below - ooooh, cables!
-
Love your post about gauge. Thank you. And since I tend to like textural knitting better than color changing, I gotta go with the hat as #1. Always willing to fight a bad hair day the easy way -- wear a hat!
-
I absolutely love the Brewster Pullover. This would be a great first sweater as the color work looks so awesome. When I first saw it, my heart skipped a beat.
-
Brewster all the way, baby! I LOVE it! You were truly inspired to design something so fabulous! Thank you for the wonderful hat pattern. It will be on my needles soon. And, thank you for the chance to win such a beautiful set of needles. Only in my dreams would I own such a nice set of needles. ♥
-
I love the hat! The sweaters are great but maybe a little out of range for me being a relatively new knitter. I think the Dad hat would be great for my boys. Thanks!
-
I love the Delancy Cardigan, and have wanted to knit it for some time! I have a few sets of Dreamz fixed circs that I really love, and I have wanted to try the Karbonz since they were introduced. It would be a thrill to win!!!
-
Love the Delancey Cardigan!
-
I love the Delancey Cardigan. Very classy design. Could see it worn to a dinner date or for a day of beach combing. A cozy cardie that would see years of use.
-
The Delancey cardigan, but it's very hard to choose one! And thank you so much for all your testing on needle materials, so illuminating.
-
I like the slouchy hat!
-
I love the slouchy hat... beautiful texture and just the right amount of slouch.
-
I love the Delancey Cardigan!
-
I really like the Brewster pullover; not only is it a great design, it would be fun for my daughter as Brewster is a character she loves on Chuggington. Knitters Pride tend to be my favorite needles, knitting on some Dreamz circulars right now, and I could really use a set of interchangeables.
-
LOVE the Rosendale Slouchy. Love the other ones, but I tend to really like what I know I can make. ;) Than you so much for the giveaway.
-
They all look amazing!! But if I have to choose one then the Delaney cardi , it's just so different. Thanks for the giveaway. Keep up the good work!
-
I love the hat. I don't have the skill set to tackle the sweaters. :)
-
I really like the Rosendale Slouchy Hat which is strange because I'm not a big fan of knitting hats. Go figure. I've been contemplating buying the Karbonz interchangeable set after reading several articles about the differences in gauge using different needles.
-
Love the Rosendale slouch hat pattern. Thanks for the giveaway
-
I love all 3 patterns but think the Delancey Cardigan would be a very slimming look for me. Thank you for quality designs and plus sizes.
-
It is so hard to choose a favourite! I would go with the Delancey Cardigan. No, the Rosendale hat. Wait, definitely the Delancey Cardigan. Thanks for the opportunity!
-
I like the Rosendale Slouchy Hat. Thanks!
-
I love the hat and it's the 1st of the three patterns I'd attempt.
-
The delancey cardigan looks really great. I think I'd like to try my hand at that pattern..with some new needles. =)
-
I love love love the Brewster Pullover! I can just picture it in aqua, cream, and light charcoal for me and in cream, light pink, and mauve for one daughter and in brown, green, and yellow for my other daughter. Yummy all around!
-
The Brewster sweater is absolutely gorgeous!! Amazing pattern and colours :)
-
Rosendale slouchy hat

-
The Rosendale Slouchy Hat. I really need a hat even though it just turned Spring!
-
Oh I really like the Rosendale Slouchy Hat!! I just may bump this pattern up on my to do list!
-
Hei! My favourite pattern is the Delancey Cardigan, but I also love the Rosendale Slouchy Hat, so it was hard to decide. I would probably rather knit the hat, but that is only because so far I have knitted only small projects. Looking forward to Jumpers and Cardigans though!
-
I'm really loving the Rosendale slouchy. Great textures.
-
Definitely the slouchy hat! Can never have too many hats :)
-
I love, love, love your Dalancey cardigan! I'm a plus size and it is a perfect pattern for "shrinking" my figure.
-
Gotta go with the slouch hay. Why? Because my last haircut did not go as expected.
-
I love the look of the Rosendale Slouchy Hat. It looks like I'll need to knit more hats the way the snow is coming down today!
-
I love the Rosendale Slouchy Hat. Simply because I love to make hats.
-
I love the hat(s) - both the cabled and the slouchy hat. I also find your blog about needles and tension extremely interesting - so now I want karbonz needles!
-
I love the all but the delancey cardi is my fav
-
That's so generous! I love the Brewster cardigan and am imagining it in black with hot pink stripes.
-
I like the Delancey Cardigan. The pop of color is really pretty and the diagonal stripes are interesting and really different.
-
I love the Delancey Cardigan!
-
I like the Delancey Cardigan, probably mainly because i'm obsessed with the color orange.
-
I love the Delancy Cardigan! Love especially you offer it in plus sizes.
-
The Brewster Pullover is my favorite. Thank you for the giveaway!
-
Loving the Delancy cardigan, and especially the rolled collar and the placket (is that what it's called?), where the knitting becomes intricate and interesting!
-
I'm intrigued by the construction of the Brewster pullover and I'm a sucker for geometric stranded colorwork!
-
Thanks for the opportunity! I really love two: Rosendale Slouchy Hat and Delancey Cardigan
-
The Delancy Cardigan is lovely!!
-
Jany! You have to pick just one :) If you win a runner-up prize, I'm going to make you pick!
-
I love the hat!!!! Thanks for a great blog!
-
I think the delancey cardigan is beautiful and I love that it comes in a range of sizes. It's hard to find a nice cardi with a snug fit and a low cleavage. It's lovely!!
-
I love the Rosendale Slouchy Hat.....that I can make for sure and good for bad hair days! Thank you:)
-
I LOVE that cardigan! I want to make myself a cardigan and have been looking for a pattern that came in plus sizes that I liked. Of course I love the hat too. :D

-
I love the Delancey cardigan! I love the chevrons on the back.
-
Brewster for me. I like stranded knitting.
-
I like the hat. I love knitting hats. They are quick, useful and everyone loves receiving them.
-
I love all three patterns but I would really like to try the Delancey cardi! The chevrons look great!
-
I think the sweaters are lovely, but I'm an accessories gal - and that Rosendale Slouchy Hat is tres unique! You have a lovely collection.

-
So thankful to a friend for sharing this. It's always great to find another knitting blog.:-) I love the shaping of the Delaney cardigan but the pullover is a close second.
-
Love the Rosendale sliouchy hat!
-
I love the rosendale slouchy hat.
-
I like the rosendale slouchy hat. It's intricate and challenging, at a size that is more manageable than a sweater. Signing up for your newslwtter. Thanks
-
I love the rosendale slouchy hat. It's so cute.
-
I have always loved the Delancey cardigan! and it was a really interesting blog on the gauge difference between the needles! thanks for doing that
-
The Rosendale Slouchy Hat is my favorite. I love the stitch pattern.
-
The Delancey Cardigan is simple but still interesting for the eyes with the striping and colour changes. I love the collar on this sweater too!
-
Most of all I love the sweater ( in the middle) ! ❤❤❤It is gorgeous!!!
-
I love the Delancey Cardigan! The stripes and the front part makes it very interesting.
-
Hard to choose....but I think I like the Delancey Cardigan best. But I'm intrigued by the construction of the Brewster pullover.

Your Brewster Pullover is very fresh and fun!
-
I like your blog a lot, your patterns too. My favorite of the three is the Brewster Pullover (I am into stranded knitting now, big time).
-
Love the Delancey cardigan.
-
Wow! Hard to decide, but I think that the Delancey Cardigan is my favorite. Second runner up is the Rosendale Slouchy Hat. :) Thank you for this giveaway!
-
I love the Brewster Pullover. It's beautiful.
-
Love your designs! Of the three, the Rosendale Slouch Hat is the pattern I would immediately cast on.
-
Love the slouch hat and I bought 2 Karbonz circulars to try socks 2at a time. Absolutely Devine needles!, certainly would enjoy making a slouchy hat on them.
-
I have to have the Delancey Cardi. It is delicious, delightful and DARLING!!!!! I definitely would love this pattern. I love the colours that you used, especially that the winter in Toronto have been hard and long, I would wear it everywhere just to cheer people up!!! Thanks, Harlee Cole
-
I love the brewster pullover, your color choices are amazing!!
-
Love the color work on the Brewster sweater - lately I've been doing a lot of color work which keeps me engaged and never bored. Beautiful patterns!
-
I am all about slouchy hats, so I chose Rosendale! It would look great with a complementary cowl...
-
Delancey cardigan - a wonderful interplay of color and direction. Is it named for the street in NYC, which is one of my favorites too?
-
I am not fan of sweaters... but I love hats and I love the hat pattern!!
-
Rosendale Slouchy Hat looks great. Sweaters are so far beyond my ability at this time, but these ones are really nice. Wish I could do them now.
-
I love the hat!! :)

I love love love Delancey! The color options are endless and it's such a great shape. What a great giveaway! I have wanted to try Karbonz for awhile now and I love your patterns. Have a great weekend!
-
Definitely the Rosendale Slouchy Hat. This seems to be my year for knitting hats and this one looks like it would fit perfectly in my collection.
-
I have been wanting to make Delancey ever since I saw it. I haz a scared because it is way bolder than my usual style -- but every single example I see on Ravelry is so flattering. I am going to do it someday! Thanks for the cool giveaway.
-
Love the Delancey Cardigan!
-
I love to knit hats, so the Rosendale is my favorite!
-
I pick the Rosendale Hat! Love a quick but interesting project!
-
I love the Delancey Cardigan and the fact that it comes in bigger sizes. I finally figured out that you can use circulars for small pieces instead of double points so I love that you're offering a set of needles, too.
-
i love your Delancey Cardigan and its nice you offer it in a plus size. that sweater would be wonderful to take on a cruise.
-
The Delancy Cardigan has been in my Ravelry favorites for quite some time. I love the way the CC stripes make your eye travel and add so much style (and attitude!) for such a simple detail. Having knit your Turnstone Pullover and Nora Dress, I have no doubt that the Delancy Cardigan would be an equally intuitive and fun knit. You're an inspiration!
-
I love the Rosendale slouchy hat! A perfect quick knit for the Southern Hemisphere winter.
-
I love the Delancey cardigan and the chevron stripes, and flattering style,. When my kids were little I made sweaters for all of us and I haven't since then, and they are all grown up, 35, 27 and 25 years old. I have recently lost 50 # and have been wanting to make a sweater again. I love your patterns and models, and would also love to try knitters pride carbonz needles. I loved reading about all knitters pride does for women and girls in India.
-
I love them all.Hard to choose. One of my granddaughters was asking for a slouchy hat so i guess I will go with the Rosendale Slouchy Hat.She is 12 and she loves hats and fingerless gloves...I have always used the Walmart needles,so I don't know what it is like to use good needles.Always say I am gonna splurge, but something always comes up.Would love to win the needles and patterns.
-
Love the Slouchy Hat pattern
-
Rosendale Slouchy Hat would be my pick. They are all great, but I don't usually knit big projects.
-
I love the Delancey Cardigan. It's perfect for my curvy shape!
-
Rosendale Slouchy Hat - who doesn't need another hat?
-
I never knew that the material of the needle would have such an impact on the finished knit. I only use wooden needles but will have to try out others now too. I'd love to win a set of these. The Delancey Cardigan looks like such a fresh and flattering design. (And thanks for offering the Cabled Dad hat. I downloaded it a while back and am looking forward to casting on!)
-

-
I would love to knit the Brewster pullover with the Karbonz needles! Thank you for the opportunity to post on your blog.
-
I like the Brewster Pullover the best!
-
Sherry- Yes! The Delancey is named for the street in Manhattan. It's a funny story actually. I always have a hard time naming my sweaters, and this one was no different. I was riding the subway to work one morning, while sketching out some different collar ideas for the design, when the train stopped at Delancey Street. The doors opened, and this crazy guy kind of stumbled onto the train, staggered right up to me, took one look at my sketch and said, "I would buy that!". I took it as a sign, and named the pattern Delancey :)
-
I'd love to make the Delancey Cardigan. It looks so trendy and sophisticated. And I'd been wanting a set of interchangeable circular knitting needles, since, it seems like, forever.
-
I love the Rosendale Slouchy hat and it would make an excellent gift to knit for my daughter-in-law. Thank you for the opportunity to win this pattern and the others and those wonderful needles.
-
I am a big hat knitter. I love the Rosendale Slouchy hat!
-
I love the Brewster Pullover. I think it's so adorable but I find it very intimidating because I've never done color work...other than basic stripes. Thanks for the opportunity and the lovely hat pattern!
-
I love the Delancey Cardigan!
-
I'm in England and really enjoying your blog. I teach at the University of Chichester and I was very interested to read you blog about the surprising difference materials have on the apparently same tools. Well the Brewster pullover is my favourite, I love dyes and dyeing my own yarn, so that pattern offers a lot of scope!.
-
I love the Brewster pullover! Such a great pattern, would be fun to make it! Thank you.

-
Brewster pullover!! Love that sweater every time I see you wearing it!!
-
I love the Rosedale slouchy - it would look wonderful on my daughter. Thank you for the article about how different needles affect a knitting project. I would never have realized that.
-
I love the Delancey Cardigan. I've already knit it once, and want to do it again now that you've released instructions for it to be shorter.
-
A gal can never have too many hats so Rosendale Slouchy is my fav.
-
I think I like the Rosendale hat best. I'm just about to finish knitting up your Cabled Dad hat pattern and really like it! Thanks for your splendid work!

Delancey! So many colour options, and the name alone strikes me as something fancy.
-
Love, love, love the Rosendale hat! Thanks for such a great give-away!

-
I love the Delancey cardigan. it is on my to knit list
-
Delancey...Love that collar!
-
All of the patterns are fun...but I think I like the Rosendale slouchy hat the best. I can see myself knitting this hat a number of times so that I have a color with those great zigzags to match every outfit!
-
Love the Delancy Cardigan-fabulous for any season!!!
-
My vote is for the Delancey cardigan. I love the diagonal coloured strips. It would be very slimming. Thanks for the chance to win.
-
I've admired the Delancey cardi for a long time. I love the vintage look of it (and am obsessed with stripes, so that's a definite plus!). Just have to finish a couple of projects in the works, agonize over yarn and color choices, and cast on....
-
what a great give away! i've been eyeing delancey for a while and would love to get the pattern!
-
Boy, that's a difficult choice! But I guess I have to go with the Delancy Cardigan. And, by the way, your post about the different needles and impact on gauge was fabulous. I don't know why I never thought to be so systematic to see the effect. Thanks a bunch!
-
What a givesway. I like the rosenale slouchy hat.

I am a huge fan of yours from having made the Wildmere Cardigan not once, but twice! Your instructions are so understandable and the unusual construction making it fun, easy and a ending up with perfectly fitting garment. I've been waiting for another of your designs and now am anticipating the Delancey Cardigan!
-

-
Delancey! I love the color contrast on the collar! And a nicely shaped cardigan is always appealing to me!
-
All the patterns are terrific, but I think I'd like the Rosendale Slouchy Hat !! And thanks much ~
-
Toss up between your Delancey Cardigan and Rosendale Slouchy Hat. Thank you!

-
Definitely the Rosendale hat. I live in Austin and its the perfect "hipster" style that suits the mood of this city. Thanks.

-
I love the Delancey Cardigan! Classic and modern at the same time!
-
The Brewster Pullover is my absolute favorite. I would love to knit it!

My favorite is the Brewster pullover. I have never seen anything like it! The patterns are all different yet look beautiful together.
-
Loved the free hat pattern and will be making as my next project in my queue after I finish a shawl for my mother. I must be in a hat phase because I just love the patterning on the Rosendale slouchy hat !!!!
-
I like the Delancey cardi the angle of the stripes is very flattering.
-
Delancey, of course! Lovely and it would surely stretch out some of my curves :P
-
I love the Delancey Cardigan! So many possibilities with different color combinations!
-
Loving the look of the Delancey Cardigan. Looks to be quite comfortable and I love the colors.
-
The Brewster is my fave - looks a bit too challenging for me. The Delancey has my favorite colors in the sample - and the hat - well, nothing beats your dad's cabled hat. Seriously.
-
I'm smitten with the Delancy Sweater. I'm thinking it would look great in two colors in the same color family. It would be a little less graphic but would be very classy, in my opinion. Thanks so much for your exciting efforts!
-
I like the Rosendale Slouchy Hat. All three patterns are nice but I think I am mostly likely to knit the hat.
-
I <3 The Delancey Cardigan!!! The lines are fantastic!
-
oh the Rosendale slouch hat love that
-
I love that Delancy cardigan! As a new knitter, I'm not sure I'm ready for it yet, but I would sure give it a try.
-
Sloughy Hat . Love hats even though they don't look that great on me!
-
Oh exciting new needles. I knit hats to relax and your Rosendale Slouchy Hat looks like fun. All those textured stitches. Yum.
-
I love the Brewster and already made it!! See Ravelry for my finished project: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/RJReid/brewster-pullover. I used mostly Karbonz sz US6 but also my KnitPicks Harmony of the same size for holding stitches and transferring stitches back to Karbonz. I'm very please with the finished sweater. I've also used a smaller size Karbonz for pair of gloves and they turned out beautifully as well. I definitely base my needle selection on my project type. I've looked closely at Delancey and Rosendale a few times, but just haven't made a decision.
-
I really like all three patterns but I'm particularly drawn to the Rosendale Slouchy hat.
-
The Rosendale slouchy hat seems to have a wonderful drape to it. Gorgeous.
-
Great post! Favorite pattern is the Delancey Cardigan love the pattern of the colour work!
-
I would love to have a set of interchangeable needles but I could never justify spending the money when I have pairs and pairs of needles of all sizes and lengths. My favorite pattern of the three in the Rosendale Slouchy Hat. It has charm and yet is simple and looks simple to make.
-
LOVE THE CARDIGAN! (p.s. I already completed the Cabled Dad Hat, but was so excited to give away to my friend that I didn't get any photos yet, will have to go visit her for a photo shoot! the pattern was SOO awesome).
-
They are all wonderful. If one has to be picked, it would be the Delancey Cardigan. It just looks wonderful on everyone.
-
I love them all but would pick Delancey as a perfect spring and fall cardi. I have the Dad Hat on my to do list. Not sure who it will be for just yet but excited to start it :-)
-
Oh yes! Would love hat pattern! Love hats!!! Have some karbonz dpn's love them!!
-
The Delancey cardigan is my favourite, it looks comfortable and smart enough to wear at work with out looking slouchy.
-
I looooooove the Delancey!!! It's beautiful!!!
-
Hi! Love the Rosendale Slouchy Hat. The sweaters are also lovely, but I hate running in all the extra ends that result from using multiple colors. I am a huge fan of interchangeable needles, although I haven't tried this material yet. I usually use wood or bamboo, and almost never use DPN's or standard straight needles any more. I love how I can carry all the sizes around and be ready for anything!
-
My favorite is Delancey, but I already own it...so, my second favorite is the Rosendale Slouchy Hat, I really like the pattern on it.
-
Your designs are beautiful and easy to follow. I am in the process of knitting the Cabled Dad hat but have no pics to post yet. Those Karbonz needles are awesome and I'm excited to see that you are offering them as a prize!
-
My favorite has to be the Delancey Cardigan, because I am a huge cardigan fan! (Like, really. I think I may have more cardigans than shirts in my closet).
-
Just signed up for your newsletters because I saw your Cabled Dad Hat pattern on Ravelry. Loved knitting it for my cousin's husband and like you, I was tempted to keep the hat. I'm now knitting another hat for me. I'm looking forward to trying out your other patterns too. Also loved your post on swatching, but then again, I'm the swatch stickler in my knitting group.
-
My favorite is the Rosendale slouchy hat. The design looks very interesting and I'm looking forward to developing my knitting skills all the time. For example, I haven't tried working from a chart yet so I'm looking forward to learning that skill. Beautiful designs! Thanks!
-
I love the Rosendale Slouchy Hat! It just seems to flow over the head. This is a sign of a well designed hat. I also love the texture of the hat. I prefer to knit textured patterns as they keep my knitting brain engaged.
-
I love the Delancy cardigan. The striping is unique and thin enough to flattering on a variety of body types. Besides, who doesn't love a good sweater when the seasons are changing?
-
My favorite pattern is the Slouchy hat - It looks neat and clean and looks like it would be good to hold a lot of hair out of the way. Thank you for offering this giveaway contest!
-
I like the Slouchy hat pattern. I also LOVE Karbonz needles but haven't yet had a chance to try out the interchangeable circulars; I have several sets of DPNs for sock knitting in all different sizes. I would definitely LOVE to try the interchangeables! I also like the other hat a lot so I'm off to join the mail list...
-
Rosendale Slouchy Hat is my favorite. Thanks!
-
I love the Delancey cardigan. The jaunty angles. The stripes. The orange.
-
I love the Delancey Cardigan . Very nice
-
All three are gorgeous, but I love the Rosendale Slouchy Hat the most! I've learned to never underestimate the value of a beautiful hat. I really like the way that it drapes and it looks like a relaxing pattern to knit. :)
-
My favorite pattern is the Delancey cardigan. The style of the cardigan, especially the way the stripes run, are very flattering to any body shape! It's definitely a winner in my book. Thanks for this generous giveaway! Rav ID: kellknit
-
I do love the Delancey Cardigan. It's just stripy enough for someone of my figure :)
-
I adore the Delancey Cardigan, love the stripes and the shaping. BUT I am REALLY keen on trying the Karbonz needles. I have recently become quite discouraged with the needles I have purchased so many of from an online company. They are falling apart at the joins and splitting ... and the replacements are just as bad, it's item to switch companies. Crossing my fingers and hoping I win win WIN!! Thanks for the opportunity!
-
My fave is definitely the Rosendale Slouchy Hat!!
-
It seems I've been attracted to hats & cowls lately (not warm yet maybe?) so your Rosendale Slouchy Hat most appeals to me - as well as the needle set! Thanks for the giveaway.
-
I like the Rosendale Slouchy Hat. I'm in Florida, so I don't need much in the way of sweaters. ::grin:: Plus, I'm easily distracted by *new!* patterns and/or techniques, so hats (and other small projects) are better for me, as they actually have a chance to be completed! ::grin::
-
Delancey Cardigan is my favorite- the colors and the diagonal stripes coming in at the waist are just so good!! But who wouldn't love all 3 patterns!
-
All three patterns are fabulous, but my favourite is the Delancey Cardigan. What a fun giveaway!
-
I'm coming in a might late on this one but I have to say that the Rosendale Slouchy hat pattern is one of my favourite patterns that I have knitted for my charity The Breast Cancer Clinic at my local hospital. For many of the women who haven't lost their hair but has thinned, the Rosendale Slouchy hat has generous sizing and the wide band grips well onto the head, it is a favourite with the ladies who at a time in their life are so vulnerable. The demand for this hat knitted in the Rosendale pattern is high so much so that I have knitted all through this summer (and it's been a hot one with temps more than 30 degrees).
-
Definitely Rosendale Slouchy Hat. Its ribbed edge frames the face nicely without detracting from the zigzag stripe pattern. Well done.
-
While all the patterns are special, my favourite is the Delancey Cardigan. I love how you have integrated the contrasting colour in the stripes, button band and the lapels.
-
I like both sweaters, but Delancey would be my pick. Thanks for the giveaways.
-
I LOVE the Rosendale Slouchy Hat, and so would my two teenage daughters. Not so tight that it ruins a good hairdo...
-
Brewster Pullover. I love the graphic nature and colorwork is a favorite.
-
I love the Brewster Pullover but cannot imagine that in a thousand years I could knit it. So I guess that leaves the Delancey Cardigan, maybe because of the colors I'm a huge fan of orange....
-
I love the Rosendale Slouchy Hat pattern. I make a lot of hats for family and friends, and for me too!
-
Rosendale Slouchy Hat is my favorite! I love trying new needles so this would be wonderful. Thank you for the opportunity!
-
I like the Brewster so much for all the graphic designs. It's more ambitious than anything I've done so I'm surprised that it is the one I favor most. I also really like the slouchy hat because of the texture. Great designs!
-
The Delancey cardigan has been on my Ravelry wishlist for a while now. I love it's retro vibe and timeless style. Awesome giveaway!
-
The Delancey Cardigan is definitely my favorite - fun style and colorwork. Interesting article about the gauge difference with different needles. I have noticed a difference in wooden vs. metal, but didn't realize that the other types would be so significantly different.
-
I knit a lot of hats, so the Rosendale slouchy hat is definitely my fav. Noreen1009 (on Rav)
-
I love slouchy hats and would love to add Rosendale to my collection. My needles are a mix of this and that bought when a pattern called for a size I didn't have (or couldn't find!), would love to have one complete set of everything I need.
-
after your post about needle material affecting gauge, i really want to try carbon! i knit huge, and sometimes there's just not enough needles sizes to move down. as far as the three patterns, the brewster pullover is a siren call to me. i think i need more subdued colors, but i don't want to lose that great liveliness! thanks!
-
The Delancey cardigan is my favorite. Love it!
-
Love the Brewster!!! Thanks! Just bought my first karbonz and love them!
-
My fav would have to be the cardigan. Timeless Style. I like many knit for relaxation and agree the slouchy hat would be a great pattern.
-
I am so into slouchy hats right now! I love your pattern, it is on my list to knit. Thank you for the emails! Thank you for the give away too!!
-
I have been struggling with finding the "right needle" for myself. These needles look great. And any of your patterns would make me so happy I would bounce all over the floor.
-
I do like your Brewster Pullover, but I think I'd be more likely to knit your Delancey Cardigan at this time. My wardrobe needs some more cardigans, and I love its silhouette.
-
The Brewster pullover...but then I would have to knit it, wouldn't I?
-
The Delancey would be my favorite! Very classic and hip!
-
I like the Delancy cardigan. I think it would be very flattering.
-
The Brewster pullover has top down construction and promises another way to knit in sleeves - it is my favorite. The sweater would be a workhorse in my wardrobe- one that would get lots of wear. It would be delightful to have this pattern in one of my knitting bags with the Brewster sweater on a pair of knitters pride needles. I didn't think I liked wooden needles until I got a set of knitters pride needles and I love them. There is such a difference in quality among brands of needles. My advice to new knitters would be to invest in good needles from the start. It would be such a joy to own a Karbonz set.
-
I love the very graphic pullover. The colors and pattern are both unusual and striking. I use all kinds of knitting needles and find I need them all too! The Carbonz look like a fine addition, am whetting my hands for them already! And thank you for sharing the hat pattern.
-
I really like the Delancey - the biased stripes are most original and the name evokes a casual yet chic je-ne-sais-quoi that is captured in the shapeliness of the cardigan. I too have just tried the Karbonz recently and am fascinated by the space-age materials with which we lucky knitters of the 21st century are able to dabble!
-
The Brewster Pullover is AMAZING! My great aunt taught me how to knit and crochet, and I've been obsessed ever since! She passed away last year and I miss her so much! She left me a lot of her yarn and materials, so I like to knit and crochet to keep her in my mind.
-
Love the Brewster. Great designs and a great giveaway.
-
I'm crushing on the Rosendale Slouchy Hat, but goodness me I'm loving the Brewster Sweater as well. I have a Cabled Dad Hat on my needles right now :)
-
I love the slouchy hat.
-
Great info! I've been working on building up a variety of needles but I haven 't tried these yet. I love the Rosendale Hat.
-
I have been looking at the Karbonz Needles, but have not yet tried them. My fav is the Delancey Cardigan; can wear it with almost anything.
-
Brewster please and thank you. It would be perfect for my niece!
-
Wow! Thanks for the chance to win a pattern and the Karbonz Needles. I'd love the Delancey Cardigan. I'm not very good at colorwork, but these stripes seem totally doable and would be a great learning opportunity. I've heard some great thing about Karbonz and would love to have a set.
-
My favorite is the Delancey Cardigan, it is one of the most striking cardigans I have ever seen. The design is outstanding because the sweater will look good on any one. And for me, it would be a challenge to knit this because of the color work, I'm trying to do things I have never done before in my knitting. And last but not least I would LOVE to try the Karbonz Needles.
-
I love the Delancey cardigan. I saw Leslie of TheKnitGirllls Podcast knitting it and I've been wanting to knit it ever since!
-
I love the Delancey cardi! So cute!
-
I've had my eye on the Delancey cardigan since my early days on Ravelry ... I knit the Vera cardigan from Knitscene a few winters ago and it's my most-worn cardigan ever, so I'd love to knit another of your cardigans (and I wouldn't mind trying out those Karbonz, either).
-
Hats are my favourite travel knitting projects. Love your Rosendale slouchy hat - so cute!
-
Delancey Cardigan looks pretty terrific!
-
I would love to make the slouchy hat! I love my KP straight needles and woul be estatic if I won an interchangeable set. Ec-sta-tic!!
-
MY fav pattern is the Delancey. I would love to win these needles.
-
Love the Brewster. Would love to receive that pattern as a give-away!

Delancy , just love the diagonal stripes and cute collar
-
I really like the Delancey cardigan.

-
I like the Rosendale Slouchy Hat best!
-
Love the Delancey pattern.
-
I love the delancy cardigan!!
-
I love the Brewster Pullover. Even though it is shot with snow in the background, it reminds me of Spring.
-
I am in love with the rosendale hat. I would love to whip this up in a rainbow yarn. It would be wonderful to have a set of Interchangables in my growing collection.
-
I am loving the Delancey Cardigan. The colours are putting me in a Sping-y state of mind and who can resist stripes. I'm pretty sure there will be a Rosendale in my future too, regardless of the generous giveaway outcome. Thank you! and happy SPRING!!!
-
I love your Delancey Cardigan. The stripes are visually striking and the shaping gives a slimming effect. Perfect for a plus sized sweater. Thank you for the wonderful design!
-
I love the sophistication of the Brewster pullover. The knitting needles would be a bonus....What a great giveaway.
-
I love the slouchy hat!!!!
