DESCRIPTION
This casual slouchy hat uses simple knit-purl textures to make a dynamic zigzag and stripe pattern. Slouchiness is created by knitting the main part of the hat a little longer than normal, and is easily adjusted to suit your taste. The back of the hat is encouraged to gather and drape by the strategic use of  purl ridges throughout the design.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
20.5” (23.5”) head circumference; 10” tall
Select a size with 1-2” of negative ease.

Stroll Sport (75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon; 137 yards/50g): Jack Rabbit Heather 25057, 2 balls.

NEEDLES
US 7 (4.5mm) DPNs, or size to obtain gauge

GAUGE
20 sts & 30 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on size 7 needles.
