The Canyon fingerless mitts feature bold stripes and colorwork patterns that were inspired by the beautiful patterns on Navajo rugs. The gloves are knitted in the round from the bottom up, and partially from two charts. The difference in sizes is achieved by adjusting the gauge.
6¼ (7¼ )" hand circumference and 6¾ (7½ )" long
Brown Sheep Nature Spun Sport (100% wool; 184 yd [168 m]/ 50 g):
•#105s bougainvillea (MC, red), 1 skein
• #720s ash (B), 1 skein
• #146s pomegranate (C, burgundy), 1 skein
36 (31) sts and 48 (42) rounds = 4" in St st
• For small: Size 1 (2.25 mm): set of double-pointed needles (dpn)
• For large: Size 2 (2.75 mm): set double-pointed needles (dpn)
