The Gowanus Shawl utilizes the classic triangle shawl shape and is worked from a chart. The pattern is easy to memorize and a cinch to make on US size 9 needles, perfect for the beginning lace knitter. The modern eyelet grid pattern is accentuated by a picot edge that is worked during the bind-off. Have fun picking colors for the stripes, but Gowanus is also beautiful worked solid in only one color.
