The Zea Hat features a fun popcorn stitch pattern and a pompom at the crown. Twisted ribbing at the brim provides crisp structure around the face and helps keep the slouchy style perfectly in place. The hat is worked in the round from the brim to the crown. The optional attached pompom is a perfect finishing touch.

The matching Zea Mitts make a very handsome set.

FAQ

Q: I'm having trouble understanding how to create the popcorn. Can you explain it in more detail?

A: Here is a link to a video tutorial I made about creating the popcorn stitch.

Q: Can you explain in more words how to knit the "dec popcorn"?

A: The decrease popcorn is worked exactly like the regular popcorn, except you will decrease one extra stitch (that's 7 instead of the usual 6) at the end of the popcorn.
